I always wanted to get into International institute of information technology in Bangalore. However, I was not able to score in the entrance. Recently, I visited IIIT to meet one of my cousins
“Ashish.” He gave me a complete tour of the place. In this blog, I am going to share some of the facts and information that I learned about the IIIT.
International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore aka IIIT-B. It is amongst the top graduation institutes in India, which was established in 1999. This prestigious institute offers courses in M.S. in Research, M.Tech. And PhD programs in the field of Information Technology.
It is amongst the deemed institutes in India. The executive vice chair of Infosys “Mr. Kris Gopalakrishnan” is the chairperson of this institute.
According to the stats, annually more than 5000 students apply for admission. Out of these individuals, 150 students are for each are selected i.e. 300 students for two years. Few students are
also selected from All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) out of the 2000 applicants. This gives you an idea about how tough it is to get into IIIT. Inspite of trying so hard I could not make it.
However, through his hard work and determination, Ashish made it and I am quite proud of him.
The moment you get into IIIT-B, your life changes. With an expert team of faculty, they are known to bring the best out of their students.
