After making plans to go to Mumbai and booking my fight tickets in Jet Airways, I looked in the internet for budget hotels that were near to the airport and offered rooms at reasonable rates. After a bit of search on various websites, I finally came upon Ace Residency Mumbai, which is a three star hotel offering excellent services to the customers. I had my room booked in the hotel, which is only 4 km from the airport and therefore convenient for me.
The hotel is located in Andheri, opposite to the N.G. Complex. It is a 3 star hotel offering excellent service to the guests. I took a cab that was sent from the hotel and got to the hotel within 10 minutes. I had booked an Executive Room in the hotel, which charged RS. 3500. I checked in at the hotel, refreshed myself and ordered the room service to bring me a cup of coffee. Soon I was sound asleep and got up 12 noon.
The room I booked was spacious, clean and air conditioned. There was an LCD TV, refrigerator and a writing desk, as well as comfortable chairs. Wi-Fi facility was also provided in the room. The bathroom was clean and provided with hot/cold running water, as well as toiletries and bath towel.
For lunch I went to the restaurant in the hotel and noted that it served Indian Chinese and Continental cuisines. I decided to choose Chinese and ordered a few items. The food served was delicious and the restaurant itself was lively and bright. The waiters were polite and well mannered serving the food without much delay.
I saw that the hotel arranged sightseeing tours also. However, I had my friend in Mumbai who already promised to take me to all the important tourist places in Mumbai. Other services offered by the hotel included laundry service, doctor on call, conference halls and meeting rooms. The conference hall is capable of accommodating 50 people at a time.
After a three day stay at Ace Residency Mumbai I went back to Bangalore with fond memories of my stay.
