Being an IT professional I spend most of my days slogging every day in front of the computer. My daily routine begins and ends staring at the computer. To escape this backbreaking job and mental stress, I usually plan for an exciting vacation every year and rejuvenate myself from the hectic city life. This year I wanted to spend my holidays in a serene place surrounded by nature and adventure. So I packed my baggage and planned my trip to the party town-Goa and decided on Cidade de Goa for a mind-blowing vacation!
Cidade de Goa : Fun and Frolic Just at Your Doorstep!
My friends and me booked our rooms at Cidade de Goa which is considered to be one of the finest hotels in Goa. This Portuguese style Goa resort brought the real picture of actual Goa and the easygoing nature of Goans. I had a lovely time strolling around the 40 acres premises and had the opportunity to enjoy the array of water sports like speedboats, paragliding, and sailing. After the dash and splash of water games, our tummies were famished and longing for a delicious whole meal. Their multi-cuisine restaurant Laranja offered us the best sea food delicacies and luscious deserts.
The hotel officials were kind enough to provide us a separate vehicle with our own chauffer to enjoy long drives in the tropical lush greens of Goa. We visited wildlife sanctuaries and national parks. As I had the lady luck shining on my side, I was able to spot herds of different animals, elephants and even tigers. Being a zealous photography enthusiast, my eyes and my lens had the best feast of vibrant hues of flowers, chirping birds and timid animals. Though I clicked plenty of pictures of seas, flowers and animals, my mind still holds millions of frames which will linger throughout my memory. My friends and I planned for a thrilling trekking in the tropical Western Ghats which was genuinely tough for beginners. After the tiring trip, we enjoyed the evening in the Bar Latino which served us appetizing snacks and delicious wines. This trip will remain in my memory for a long, long time and will always be remembered with a smile of joy!
