The Museums in Delhi : A Testament to India’s History!

This summer I decided to get up from my desk and do some exploring of my own! I booked the first plane to Delhi and set out with much hopes for a dream vacation. And I’m pleased to say it didn’t take that long for me to find everything I had ever wished for! The hotel I stayed was the Allure hotel, a three star wonder that set the right mood for my vacation. The tranquillity provided by the hotel was just right after a day spent exploring the city and all it has to offer!

Capture the Rich Heritage of Delhi!

Delhi lives up to its name as the capital of India with its monuments and heritage sites. I decided that the best way to capture Delhi’s rich heritage in a nutshell was to visit its museums! These magnificent structures told the tale of the heroic city right from the time of the royals to today’s democratic nation. The National Rail Museum which is so close to the hotel has about a hundred exhibits that trace the history of railway in our country. I was so lost looking at all of the exhibits that I completely lost tract of time!

But thanks to the hotel’s very helpful travel desk I was able to arrange a tour to the closest wildlife sanctuary and there I spent an entire day with some exotic species of nature. Every moment of my vacation was so fascinating that given the chance I would do it all again and I wouldn’t change a thing about it!
