I am an IT professional and went to Chennai to complete a new project. Chennai is India’s second largest exporter of information technology and I am proud that I am a part of it. Chennai is known across the globe for its beaches, temples and the delectable South Indian cuisines. As I had to stay for a while, I can’t afford to stay in luxury hotels, so I selected one of the cheap hotels in Chennai for accommodation!

Cheap Hotels In Chennai: Affordable Luxury Accommodations!

On weekends, I used to go for a long drive in the East Coast Road (ECR). Sometimes I used to go to temples which are huge and every part of the temple is adorned with fine sculptures in Dravidian style. I went to Guindy National Park in Chennai with my friend’s family. The kids enjoyed the wildlife by seeing variety of snakes, geckos, tortoises, birds and insects. If I wish to be in the lap of nature, I used to go to Theosophical Society, which is spread over 250 acres of tall trees and clean air.

Chennai houses plenty of cheap hotels where you can good accommodation at a price starting from 700 INR. I stayed in Hotel Maurya International when I was in Chennai. The stay was very comfortable and the quality of service was impeccable. The room was air-conditioned and was functional with all the standard amenities. The best feature of the hotel is the complimentary wireless internet access, which helped me to stay connected with my office throughout the day. Cheap hotels in Chennai are the best places for budget travelers!
