Darjeeling Hotels: Honeymooners Paradise!

Life has become so beautiful, you know why? I got married to the person whom I love the most! The first choice for our honeymoon that popped out of my mind was Darjeeling, the Queen of hills. With the chill and pristine air, acres of tea plantations, beautiful quaint spots and the golden hues of sunrays, I personally felt, Darjeeling is the perfect romantic honeymoon destination. We stayed in Mayfair Hotels, which is one of the best Darjeeling hotels!

Darjeeling Hotels: Offering A Soulful Experience!

First thing we wanted to do in Darjeeling was to sip some tea and sink in the delicious taste of the steaming hot tea and the aroma of fresh tea leaves. My sweetheart and me are adventure freaks and wanted to go for trekking and paragliding. So we went to Singalila National Park, which is a famous spot for trekking and camping. We could enjoy nature to the fullest with the flower filled countryside brimming over with delicate magnolias, orchids and lush green landscapes.

The second day of our trip, we planned to spend our day inside the hotel itself. We took a Suite for our stay, which was a fine blend of antique furniture and modern amenities. The hotel offered many activities and we spent hours together in the library and watched some movies offered by the resort. To have a break, we played badminton for some time. We enjoyed a beautiful candle light dinner at the in-house restaurant. We had a completely relaxed honeymoon at Darjeeling. Most of the luxury Darjeeling hotels offer special packages for honeymoon couples!
